Keep what gives you pleasure and leave what gives you pain. ā¤

It took me years to understand that I’m the only one who is responsible for my mental health and my happiness.

Since the day we are born, we expect others, to do something amazing, something great for us. Because they belong to us. And it’s their responsibility.

But, it’s not like that. They are not responsible for you. You are responsible for yourself. šŸ™‚

Why do we always keep waiting for others to make efforts for us to make us happy?

We always want and expect others to bring us our favorite food, take us to our favorite place, bring flowers for us, give us presents, and treat us well. Why?

Stop!

Don’t do this man, I repeat don’t do this!

Start making efforts for your own self. Stop waiting for others to always make efforts for you.

And treat yourself like you treat your dear ones. And trust me it doesn’t make you a bad person.

To give yourself priority over anyone else doesn’t make you a bad person

You are still good because you are treating your tiny self well. And you deserve it.

Also being selfish with your time and energy is not bad. Always always always be selfish with your time and energy.

Stop following the old patterns. Just stop doing it. Because you are responsible for your mental health. Yes, you are. šŸ™‚

Spend time with yourself, as you spend with your favorite people. Feel peace with yourself. Enjoy your silence.

Embrace your efforts. Embrace your experiences. Embrace your mistakes. Embrace your journey.

Bring yourself your favorite snack.

Bring yourself your favorite flower.

Bring yourself your favorite outfit that you were always wanted to have.

Bring yourself your favorite book that you were always wanted to read.

Give yourself beautiful presents.

Because you are beautiful and you deserve it. ā¤
